From the east or I-75:

Follow signs to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International airport, taking I-275 west about 10 miles. Go past the airport to Exit 11 (KY 20 to Petersburg).

From the west or I-275:

 Take Exit 11, KY 20, (Petersburg, the first Kentucky exit from Indiana).

From the exit:

Turn right off the ramp and go one mile to Stevens, the first road on the right at the top of the hill. Watch for the brown “heritage tourism” sign with the right arrow. Turn right. First Farm Inn is one mile ahead on your right. Look for the red barns and white fence. The road dead-ends at the far end of our property line. Park on the asphalt in front of the house, come up on the porch and ring the bell.

First Farm Inn bed and breakfast is right off I-275, the belt around Cincinnati. We are 1 1/2 hours from Louisville, Lexington, and Indianapolis and about 5 hours from Chicago, 3 from Columbus, 1 from Dayton. Come enjoy the Kentucky bed and breakfast experience with us and try our version of a trail ride on friendly, healthy, happy riding horses of all colors, sizes and breeds.

First Farm Inn Reservation Details

  • First Farm Inn has two bed and breakfast rooms and a two-night minimum. Check-in is usually 3-8 p.m. Checkout by 11. We accept well-mannered, thoughtful children over 12 who are supervised by responsible, attentive, considerate relatives.
  • Our big Treetops Room on the second floor is $180 per night for two people. When you turn the lights off, Pegasus, Orion, Scorpio and other constellations appear in the cathedral ceiling. The two-room bath has an oversized shower. There is a queen bed, day bed and trundle. Each additional person incurs a $30 per night.
  • The 1870s Room, on the first floor, sleeps two. It has a queen bed and private bath. The fireplace is now electronic. It is $171 per night which includes a full all-you-can-eat homemade breakfast.
  • If you’d like to ride horses, please mention how many riders and how many days you’d like to ride in the comments.
  • If you have any special food needs or allergies, please mention that in the comments section too. We have a Border Collie who fiercely protects the kitchen and a number of cats, some live in the house and some outside.
